Summer TV
The 4400, which I think must have started as just a mini-series that turned out to be very popular. The first season was only 5 episodes which could have been left as-is, but then a 2nd season of 13 episodes started the following year. Season 4 starts in June and continues the story of 4400 people who disappeared over a period of 50 years and were all returned at the same time in the same place.
The only other summer attraction is The Dead Zone, based on characters from the Stephen King novel of the same name. Johnny Smith, who wakes from a 6 year coma, discovers he gets visions of the past and future by touching things. Johnny uses his ability to help others while building toward the eventual stopping of an Armageddon of sorts, details are still limited on that story line.
