EQ2 has expired, now what?
I canceled my recurring 3 month subscription to EverQuest 2 a couple of months back and now that my billing cycle has come up, I’m done, for a while at least. I’m not exactly hurting for games to play these days and the xbox 360 is great for relaxing on the couch and killing time. Rock Band, Guitar Hero III and Burnout Paradise are all awesome games, and I haven’t even loaded up Mass Effect yet.
Then a couple days ago I got myself hooked on Puzzle Quest for the PC. It’s a fun little game that uses Bejeweled style mechanics but with an RPG frame built around it. Combine rows of skulls to damage your opponent, colored mana to cast spells ala Magic The Gathering and explore the map, gain exp & gold to advance your character and your castle. It’s available on the XBox Live Arcade too, but since I got it for PC already I won’t bother with that version.
