Facebook Junkie
There’s an online yard sale facebook group for around here and sometimes there’s good deals to be had. But with nearly 7000 members you have to be quick if something good gets posted cause chances are it won’t last long. In a lot of ways it’s better than driving around on the weekend going to real yard sales. For one, you don’t have the hassle of driving around looking. For another, it’s a wide variety all in one place. I’ve seen people selling old trinkets, new video games, pets, electronics, clothes and even advertising their businesses. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a Plano dentist advertising a weekly special or something next. I’ve sold a few things on there myself and overall it’s great. No eBay/Paypal fees to deal with, no shipping to do, just post some items and if someone wants to buy just arrange a place to meet.
