While not all Torontian are on human growth hormone supplements – they can now make use of the Bixi bike share program that was recently launched this week – to better their health and save the earth. We all want to be healthy and happy and one way is to boost our immune system. So the program by the city of Toronto will be renting out about 1000 bikes – that Bixi users can rent with their bixi cards without a lot of hassle and drop off the bike after using it – at a designated station. Montreal already had this program for a long time now with about 230K people using the bikes. Rentals are cheap and I would definitely rent the Bixi bikes if I am living in Toronto but for now I’ll have to take my growth supplements to keep healthy.

Happy Birthday to me! No idea what I want but I’ve got $100 to blow so if I get a chance I’ll go do some shopping later. Will most likely pick up a new game, although I’ve still got a bunch of unplayed ones on my shelf. Maybe a copy of Lich King and a time card, but then my games will go even longer without being played. I’d pick up a 120gb drive for my xbox but they’re $150, just a little too much. Maybe some Rock Band 2 drums, I hear they’re a lot better than the first set, quieter and more accurate with a metal bass pedal. If I had a bike I’d consider one of these Memphis shades. I used to think windshields on a bike were a little.. uncool.. but with the amount of bugs in the air during the summer here, they’re actually a really good idea.

I want a motorcycle. Been wanting one for years really. Back when I was in high school I had a little Suzuki TS100 dirt bike. It was kinda small but really a great size for a beginner, and I had a lot of old wood roads and trails nearby to ride on so having a small bike made it easier to get through narrow areas. My brother had a Yamaha 175 something or other that he was always working on, so there were yamaha motorcycle parts scattered all over the driveway. I haven’t even been on a bike since I sold that Suzuki, that was about 17 years ago. Hopefully next summer I’ll have a little spare cash to drop on a little street/trail bike so I can go cruising around again, both on and off road.
