Started watching this new show called Hung recently, the first season was pretty short and season 2 has already started on TV so I guess it must have had decent ratings. It’s not quite what I was expecting but the show is enjoyable enough. Basically there’s this school coach who is hurting for cash and after taking a self-help type class he comes to the realization that since he has a big dick he can make money by joining the oldest profession in the world.

His male hooking business takes a few episodes to properly get off the ground despite the fact that he doesn’t need to waste time with extenze male enhancements, his pimp just isn’t a very good pimp. I was expecting it to be a little more like Californication, more comedy and less drama, but now that they’re in to a second season I think maybe things will improve with the show.

We are always looking out for high tech stuff – just like the wife looking for best diet pill all the time - so when we saw this recommended at Apartment Therapy – of course – the wife also had to take a look at it. She is like the kind who wants to look cool without being too technical – but you know where I’m coming from right. And at the price of $24.99 – you can really go wrong at Quirky. As I’ve said before it’s cordless – so it’s safe even in a baby’s room – and it wakes you up by lighting up the LED light in it and sound. And what’s good about cordless alarm clock? when the kid needs to get ready for school, she can bring it in – and time herself – and you don’t need to go shouting at her first thing in the morning and hurt her feelings – like the wife said – i’m so getting it!

Change can be a good thing. Too much change is typically a bad thing. Unless it’s the clinky clink type of change you find in your pocket at the end of every day and throw it into a can or bottle and forget about it. Do this on a daily basis and eventually you’ll look into the can and go ‘damn, that’s a lot of change’. I’ve got 3 cans full of change right now and I’m sure it’s at least a couple hundred bucks. I’m just too lazy to roll it up and bring it to the bank, so there it sits. Rolling money isn’t fun. I need one of those machines you dump a handful into and it does all the work for you. Maybe I have enough change here to buy one of those machines. Vicious circle I seem to be stuck in eh?! I want fun things to do. Some people find it fun to sit around googling strange words like phentermine, I find it more fun to play games whenever I have some spare time. And right about now is some spare time so I’m off to play me some games before I fall asleep at my desk. Damn 7am comes waaaay too early.

Someone gave us a little gift bag at Christmas that included a box of Lifesavers. It ended up under some clothes in a pile in the bedroom until a few days ago when it was re-discovered, opened and (almost) eaten. See, they’re supposed to be the old-school hard life savers, not the new gummy type. But, they were going kinda soft although they still tasted fine. I opened a 2nd roll and happened to see the expiry date on the silver foil under the paper wrapper. March 30, 2007. Ack! No wonder these things were beyond the help of anti aging vitamins, they were nearly 3 years past due. Good thing they don’t turn poisonous or anything! I think someone needs to go back to the store and see what’s up with that, cause damn that’s old!

There’s nowhere in this town to get cool T-shirts anymore. Well, not entirely true, but to find good ones loaded with gutter humor is rather difficult. I was surprised to find some good but cheap t-shirts online and when I saw this one I had to order it. Most of my current wardrobe consists of gaming shirts that had been sent to me as promo items when I used to sell games. That was a few years ago though so it’s time to freshen up the closet. I Don’t Give a Rats Ass is only $10, can’t beat that!

I complained recently about having a cold that just won’t let go. It still won’t, the cough is hanging on like a bitch. One good thing came out of it though, during the cold I had just after the holidays I lost 5 lbs because I just didn’t feel like eating much for a few days. Of course now my jeans are loose and I need to go buy a belt. And now I’ve lost a couple more lbs during this current cold so it’s even worse. I went looking for belts but the cheapest I can find are around $20, I’d be better off just buying more pants, provided the weight stays off that is. Shouldn’t be too hard though, now that I’m playing GH/RB less I can force myself back onto the exercise bike while playing other games.

The video she posted looks more like a ploy for attention rather than an actual confession of some ‘dark secret’. I can’t say as I have any secret vices of my own really, just typical stuff like eating chocolate and playing video games. Things I feel compelled to do but have no intention of stopping since I enjoy them both immensely. Although my scale says I should probably cut back on the chocolate a bit. Maybe someday.

Ogres aren’t very pretty, especially by celebrity type standards, so with that in mind I set out to give Rearghhh a makeover today. He started out looking like this:

First off after entering a picture you have to go through some settings like telling where the eyes and mouth are, and the general shape of the face. After that was ready I had a bunch of options to choose from including facial hair, hairstyle, accessories, makeup and so on. Being that I’m just using a free trial a lot of the options are locked, but I was still able to fancy him up a little. A white beard and ’stache, along with a ‘messy’ white hairdo make him look a little older and not so rough around the edges.

I tried out some of the bling but most if it just looked cheesy, so I just opted for a pair of glasses. Amazing how much smarter an ogre can look when he’s wearing glasses. A little color added to the cheeks helped with the green look, although I guess it’s fun being the Hulk and smashing things with his fists. There was just no help for the fangs though. Now if only SOE had included a little more customization options when they designed the game! And now I’m off to pulverize some more bear cubs to reassert my masculinity. If ogres aren’t your thing, check out the makeover gallery to see some real people, made over.

While going through the Commonlands, slaughtering mass amounts of pathetic weaklings in order to get some low level quests, I found a Dull Stone Wedge. Upon examination, it became apparent that this used to be the head of an axe, and in order to sharpen it I knew that I would need some stones from some living rocks. Not being one to skimp on the details, I headed to the Yapping Maze where I knew I could find the biggest rock giants around. Dispatching them was easy for one so mighty as I am, and the job was done in a matter of minutes.

Now that my new blade was sharp enough to slice through skulls it was time to find a suitable handle for it. The leg bones of a skeleton are tough but not just any skeleton will do, I need bones of a pirate soaking in the salt waters off the coast to make a truly indestructible haft for my new weapon.

The problem with a bone handle is that once it gets wet with the blood of my enemies it may be a little hard to keep a good grip on, so I headed up north in search of leather. Elephant leather. It was a grisly afternoon spent crafting such a beast, but now, behold the glory that is… Chickenbane! Now if only I could actually wield it in battle :/

I got a good laugh out of seeing these guys in Barren Sky the other day. Even though I’ve been near there several times I had never gone up the chain to where they’re hiding.

The inspiration for this, of course, is the ORly owl, spawned somehow someway at the Something Awful forums.

They have downgraded from e-mail to Snail Mail. The best part? They claim that since I share the same surname as the deceased, it will make the process quick and easy. The problem? They got my last name wrong. Yup, it’s Killam not Killan you dumb fuckers. Now I have no chance of getting <strike>robbed</strike> rich quick.

And no, I won’t be wasting my money to send back any response by fax. Email is free, faxes aren’t.
