I have just about any kind of guitar for all the game  systems except of course the one I need most for a customer.  A Wii guitar for rock band never seems to come into our store – and when you need one – it’s even harder.  I had a customer who came in to buy a gift for her daughter – and needed the guitar – well, I have everything of course – except the guitar.  A month later – she still can’t find it anywhere in town – so she came back to exchange the things she bought – for some games.  I really hate to disappoint our customers – but when you are dealing with second hand stuff – you are kind of at the mercy of your sellers. But I’m happy she found what she wants – finally today!

Local yard sale on FB is fun to watch – especially when the prices are right – but once in a while you have people asking for prices that I would sell the exact things for in a store – so it’s no longer a yard sale find.  These set of Guitar Heroes and games are a good find – unfortunately, I already have too many of the same items in my store – else I would definitely buy it.  As a store owner I can’t afford to pay so much for stuff – but if I was buying it for myself – definitely a great deal.  So when people come in and sell stuff to me – and I quote them a certain amount – and they don’t like it – they really don’t have to sell it to me but instead they choose to be ignorant and call me a rip off.  While I don’t really care about what I’m being called – the spouse on the other hand is different – she wants to smack them for being rude and having no upbringing at all. She said that people like that back her hometown are called kids with a mom but no dad around – therefore – they don’t get taught properly.  Some whipping would do these people good she said.  LOL!

I was shocked too – and after getting over the initial shock – I think I did laugh and sniggered a bit as well – because i would never imagine that Super Bowl can cause death in their die-hard fans.   Prevention?  dont’ watch Super bowl or get a good emergency plan in case you do get a minor attack – that seems so bad that freaked everyone out.

So you are a gamer and have been buying too much games according to the girlfriend – and not spending enough time with her.  She is upset and wants you to choose between her or your games  – what do you do?  I hear this too many times – from friends and customers – so I tell them to get a home spa gift baskets and have them delivered with a dozen or roses and tell the girlfriend to go buy a new Louis Vuitton handbag.  Now I bet – she wouldn’t be complaining for a few more months.  It works every time and you should try it out yourself and let me know.

The rumor has it that the 3DS prices is going to be dropped so low – that everyone out there is going to go get one immediately. Currently, the selling price for a 3 DS is at $249.99 – and the new price is said to be about $169.99 – now that would definitely be worth buying.   So will it only be in Japan and Europe – or for Canada as well?  I’m sure Nintendo is going to pissed off a lot of people who already bought the 3DS at its original prices but I’m sure they are going to be like Sony  – and do something to appease these people – but at the moment – I don’t know what they are.   So if you have always wanted a 3DS  – now is your chance to get it.

The nephew who is into wrestling recently had asked for some home wrestling mats for his passing present and these mats are a necessity when he needs to practice.  So we went online to check out its prices and find out where to buy them since we don’t have a wrestling store in town.  As strange as it seems – the wrestling club here do not carry a wide range of wrestling accessories that is needed for running the club.  Lucky for us – we are pretty computer savvy and could find just about anything online.  So we did find one with  lots of things that he wants – so now he is contemplating if he should get those wrestling mats or a headgear.  Oh well, we may end up buying him both.

So we had a bbq at the store during our Magic the Gathering gaming day – invited a few customers randomly to come have a hotdog on a Friday and a few did show up.  Everyone who came brought something with them – and one of them broughat a chocolate birthday Sharis Berries which the kid and the spouse loved.   The kid had her school friend come for bbq and guess who finished up the chocolate berries?  no price for guessing – haha!  the bbq went well but most importantly, we wanted to give back to our customers by sharing our food and drinks with them.  Hopefully, next time we have more people showing up because there were lots of leftovers except for the chocolate berries.

I’m sure by now everyone knows that Wii had lower their prices on the Wii consoles and package a awesome game with it right?  Yes the Mario Kart isn’t a cheap game either – but all new wii games or any games isn’t cheap right.   But for $149 – you can now get a new console and also a new good game – not just any generic game – so this Christmas – I bet there will be a lot of Wiis going out the shopping center.  I mean with this kind of price – how can it not sell right?  But some of you may be looking for the new Wii console – the Wii up or something like that – but if I had kids at home under 10 – I would most definitely get the Wii console for a Christmas present.

While friends up in Calgary was dressing up for the Comic and Entertainment Expo – in school girl costume and cat woman – I sit and admire all the fun they had during the Expo.  I was invited for the expo by friends but alas, couldn’t make it up for the expo.  But had I gone for the expo – I don’t really know what I should dress up as ?  Mario or Luiigi like some of my friends?  or Dracula?  or a vampire?   The spouse said that the Naughty U school girl outfit at less than $30 was the one she wanted to dress up in if she had gone.  But I like the below better – tell me what you think eh.

Gothic costumes are the best – and I know where to get all these costumes!
