Not again – I hear you saying – hahah! don’t blame you – the rumor has it that the iPhone 5 is scheduled to be released this summer and it is supposed to be slimmer and better of course than the iPhone 4S – and a slightly bigger screen.  Now should I go get one when it is released? or should I keep my iPhone 3G?

Truly amazing !  after I saw the above video – I am in awe!  I can imagine the amount of information my kid can get when she reaches high school.  I’m all for the iBook 2 – with textbooks for only $14.99 or less – you definitely cannot beat that price.   Gone will be the days where children carry heavy text books to school – I loved the idea and so will you.  Apple definitely has the world in its fingers – afterall there will always be students around the world.

A tablet made just for kids and covered with rubber all around it to protect the tablet from being destroyed from dropping it on the ground by your kids.  Interesting but the price is not cheap either at about $233 U.S. dollars  – would it be better to buy a regular tablet for you kid?  or do a parent buy it just because it is quite destroy proof?  The tablet will come in 3 sizes – 7 inch, 8 inch and 9 inches and all has a camera attached but only with a 2MP resolution.  Battery should last like 6hrs and parents can blocked sites that they don’t want their children to be on.  Said to be available for sale in UK in July 2012 – I wonder when it will be available in Canada.

Simple and masculine enough for me – and if I wanted something to catch my cables – it would have to be this – no funky looking colored things that the spouse loved to buy.  But the walnut wood is very expensive at about $42 – so i think I’ll get my brother to make one for me.  Even though it may not be so fine in the finish – I think I will keep my $42 – but if you are not handy – you can buy them from Orange 22.

Will you really ride on this kind of bike?  in a suit?  I can’t see myself doing it – but if you were living in a city – well – this might even be better than a car.

An infrared heater cost between $299 – $499 but that’s not what I’m concerned about – I’m more concerned about the cost of running it daily.  Will it really save me money?  I’ve read reviews about it and also seen some people that I know talk about it.  They didn’t further elaborate but all of them said it worked well in their basement.  But how much will it save me during the winter – as winter is long here?  anyone knows more about it?

I cannot believed that this thing will work – made with recycled material – no batteries needed – is said to be light and you can carry it anywhere you like – and of course – the unique designed used – but not original since it is M & M peanuts candy.  But you can plug it into your computer or any ipods or mp3s and it will work great!    And it folds too – from what i read.   Very cheap at $11.99 – so even if it doesn’t give out the best music – you can still have a talking piece at home.  Buy from Merkury Innovations or Zulily.

If I had an iPad or a Kindle – I would love to have a carry case instead of just a folder case.  Why a carry case – it’s definitely easier to walk around with and not worry about accidentally dropping it while trying to carry other stuff – especially if you need to hold the kid’s winter jacket and her gloves.   Double up as a carry case for a 14″ laptop – it’s from PKG and at $31.50 – check it out yourself – or a great gift for the guys in your life who has a iPad that they like to carry around.

I need a special umbrella – not just your ordinary one.  One that doesn’t break on me – when it’s pouring cats and dogs – one that doesn’t flip inside out – and embarrass the hell outta me in the middle of the road.  But to pay $80 USD for an umbrella – mannnn! it hurts!  but if people can pay $60 for a game – why not an umbrella – the spouse asked me.  I don’t want to be cheap – I would gladly pay $35 for an umbrella – but $80 – wow!!  But the Blunt Umbrella had been tested and proven to withstand wind up to 117 km/h – so yes! because of that I’m ordering one for Christmas for myself.  This umbrella better last me a lifetime ! haha!

Now with this – you will never have to worry about dropping your iPad – or let it slip off your hands.  Pretty simple device that’s for sure – and workable from what I see.

Currently, at $13.99 – and comes with like 7 different cute colors – the girlfriend may just give you some brownie points.

It’s not often that we get Sweet 16 Invitations but we did get one recently – and because of that invitation – we are currently looking to get a Wacom Bamboo for the cousin who is turning sweet 16 in a few weeks.   We don’t know which model to get – because Wacom has so many right now – to choose from.  Many years ago – we had bought a  Graphire for an employee – who is very good in drawing and wanted to sell her anime drawings online.  The cousin who is turning 16 is also into drawings – and coloring – so we thought a good gift to buy these 16 years old some gadget instead of clothes or jewelry.

It’s not expensive at all – less than $100 – but my biggest beef is I can’t find a genuine review – from someone who has used it for a long time and show me what the tablet – or capture can do.  I read a lot of reports on it – and some youtube videos by Wacom itself but besides the drawing and some writing capabilities – I cannot see why one need it unless you need it for drawing pictures that’s all.  So does it meant that if you are not good with drawing like myself – it’s no use buying it?  Some reviews I read were saying that it was not as sensitive as it should be and it creaks.  So anyone out there – who’ve used the Wacom tablet before – please let me know if it is a good buy for just anyone besides one who loves to draw.

The spouse loved taking pictures – and she has often wonder what the lens hood is used for – so I’m getting this for her for Christmas since it’s only $9 at Brando.  And the flower lens hood like this one – is for improving the quality of the pictures you are taking.  By using the hood – it cuts off any excess lights from entering your camera lens – so no over exposure.  The lens minimizes the lens flare from what I’ver read from bright light or when there is back lighting.
