The cover you see may not be the same as the ones in USA but the Canadian one looks like the above.  This movie was better than I thought it would be – Zoe Saldana is Cateleya a young kid who watched her parents get killed in front of her.  So the 8 years old girl only have one thing in mind and that’s to be a professional killer and wants to be trained for it. It’s a pretty good movie – and the plot and the action were quite good – loved all everyone was so scared of her but it was a sad ending.

Finally managed to watch this movie – and even though I normally don’t like chick flick – one has gotta do right by the spouse right? before she turns crazy or evil eye on me.  Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis stars in this movie and it’s about 2 people of the opposite sex thinking that it will work out as friends only but no relationship to their sex life.  Which of course, it wouldn’t work as we all know it.   If you have sex with someone – there is no such thing as no complication – but it was a good movie – check out and rent it at our store for only $3 a night.

I wouldn’t want to watch this movie if not for the spouse – who’ve heard from customers that this was a good movie based on a story book.  And since we’ve just watched a movie by Emma Stone – on Crazy Stupid Love – another chick flick that the spouse wanted to watch.  Anyhow – a review of this movie will be up soon – so check back in a bit because i fell asleep halfway thru’ – will finish watching it this weekend.  If you can’t wait – watch the trailer for now – and don’t go downloading it – go rent and original copy or buy one.

This movie is based in 1979 – about a group of kids who got together to be the film makers of the year – and witness some train crash – that was so bad – the train was totally messed up but the kids were fine.  Only to find out that there was a huge alien in the train that was let loose.   Alien starts killing people – because he was misunderstood and finally the boys helped the alien to get home.  A  Steven Spielberg’s movie  – so you can kinda expect a lot of things that you cannot fathom.  Is it a good movie – I wouldn’t say it’s fabulous – but you can watch it.

First of all, I have to let you guys out there know that it’s not a chick flick – in fact, guys will like this movie because it’s pretty hilarious – plus I know you all liked Cameron Diaz right?  what’s not to like of the big mouth girl – and in this movie – it seems even bigger for some reason.

Cameron Diaz plays the bad teacher – that you and I probably will never see in our life and I’m glad my kid don’t have a teacher like that.  So screwed up – she is on the hunt to land a rich husband but ended up with someone else.  Hilarious and is a must watch – for a good laugh.

The spouse must munch on something when she is watching a movie or a tv show  -  she even times her dinner or lunch to coincide with a show – bad habit and she knows it – so she is usually looking for help to keep her weight down.  I’m guessing the spouse isn’t the only one who have this trouble – so she reads a lot on reviews to check the things she wants to try out – like  sensa before taking them.  Don’t blame her since there are so many recommendation out there on the world wide web. Plus since she has diabetes – it’s a must to keep the weight down and also to make sure whatever she is taking does not have any side effect, so if anyone knows about sensa – if it can really help one lose weight – give me a shout eh.

Kick Ass is a movie and not some groomsmen gifts with a unique name – LOL!   I haven’t seen any review or sneek peek for the show – but the spouse did.  So today – we sat down and watched the show – at first i thought it was a kid’s movie – since it was about a kid who wanted to be a super hero – like in his comic books – until i saw Nicholas Cage – as Big Daddy.  Of course, Chloe Moretz as Hit girl was pretty awesome too.  Anyhow, like any of this kinda show – it’s about fighting the villain and the teenage boys falls in love and so forth.  It’s a movie you can watch of course – kinda good – kinda funny – kinda goofy.

Looking at my system memory, i didn’t think i have enough room in my computer to bring this movie to watch during lunch – so i only managed to see it yesterday night with the spouse. Renee Zellweger was in it and I for one thought it was a chick flick and had hope for one – but it turned out to be a horror show and good enough else the spouse wouldn’t have watched it with me. Rated for violence – so make sure you don’t watch it with your kids – else i’m pretty sure – they will get nightmares. Horror and Thriller was said about the movie and since this is a Canadian/American movie – we definitely had to watch it. My Verdict – definitely a good watch – even though some stuff don’t make much sense. Watch for yourself and you tell me.

Case 39 is an American/Canadian horror film, centering around social worker Emily Jenkin (Renee Zellweger), who is assigned to a mysterious case involving an abused 10-year old girl, Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland). After much investigation, Emily’s suspicions regarding her the Sullivans (Kerry O’ Malley and Callum Keith Rennie) ring true when she finds out that the Sullivans were planning to kill their only daughter.

Old Dogs with Robin Williams and John Travolta was hilarious – we watched it like last week but was too busy to write a review for it. So where it is – because I can’t go to sleep – no matter what I do – some sleeping pills is needed here. Anyhow, I do like the movie – and it’s a family show more than an adult show – so the whole family can enjoy it. Old Dogs is about two good friend who insist on not acting old – being in business for 30 yrs, they each has a unique part in their business and their friendship. Their Manhattan public relations firm is on the verge of a huge business deal with a Japanese company. With two weeks to sew up the contract, Dan gets a surprise: a woman he married on a drunken impulse nearly nine years before (annulled the next day) shows up to tell him he’s the father of her twins, now seven, and she’ll be in jail for 14 days for a political protest. Dan volunteers to keep the kids, although he’s up tight and clueless. Anyhow, it’s a great movie – don’t miss it.
